Story.

Pixamate started with a simple idea: design should earn its keep. Here’s how a small studio in Chennai grew into a brand, marketing and technology team.

Where it began

Pixamate began in Chennai in 2015, with one idea: a studio where brand, marketing and technology sit under one roof.

Back then, most businesses we met were juggling a design agency, a web developer and a marketing freelancer, and none of them were talking to each other. The brand said one thing, the website another, and the ads something else again. We wanted to fix that by putting all three in one team that shares one goal: getting our clients noticed, and getting them enquiries.

What we
believe

01

Look sharper

A brand should be easy to recognise and hard to forget. We design identities, print and video that make a business look as good as it actually is.

02

Build smarter

Websites and apps are tools, not brochures. We design and build them in-house, so what you approve is what gets shipped, and it keeps working after launch.

03

Measure what matters

We judge campaigns by enquiries, not impressions. Budget moves to whatever is converting, and we report on the numbers that pay the bills.

Along the
way

2015

Pixamate is founded

Pixamate opens in Chennai with a focus on brand identity and graphic design.

02

Websites and apps

We add web and mobile development, building websites, apps, fintech and IoT products in-house.

03

Performance marketing

Search, social and paid campaigns join the mix, with landing pages and tracking built in from day one.

04

Working with institutions

Long-term work with education and real estate brands such as SRM, Vels and Casagrand, from identity and websites to campaigns.

Now

A new look

A refreshed identity and a new website, built around the same idea we started with: design that earns a second look.

Who we are

Today we’re a team of designers, developers and marketers in Chennai, working with businesses in India and abroad.

We keep the team small enough that you always know who is working on your project, and broad enough that one conversation covers your brand, your website and your marketing.
